Paula Deen definitely brings the South into any dish! I used butter round crackers, cheese crackers and 1/4 cup grated cheddar for the crust instead of just crackers. It was so delicious!

I halved this recipe because my husband and son won't eat casseroles and I really wanted to try it. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to halve the cooking time, but it turned out a little dry. I would probably use bread crumbs instead of crackers and maybe add some salt and pepper. Another recipe to play with. Thanks Paula.

I made this for a dinner at a friends house. I baked it at my house and then put it in her oven on low for about an hour. There was nothing left to the broccoli! Next time I make it I will just blanch the broccoli not fully cook it so there is something left to it. And I used one egg and 1/2 cup sour cream and 1/2 cup mayo. It was good though!

Another success! I would never have thought of combining some of these ingredients, but they sure are great together. Casserole is easy to prepare and everyone loves it.

I have varied this recipe a little bit and it is still great! I use broccoli florets, less mayo, no eggs and skip the topping. Even my kids eat broccoli when it is prepared this way! I love to serve this broccoli with rice and mix the two together. Great leftover for lunch the next day!

I've made this recipe so many times in the past and was happy to see paula make it. The one thing I do differently is saute some onions and put them in too. I've never served this to anyone who didn't LOVE it. Even to people who don't like broccoli! I usually use light mayo to cut down on the fat a little.

I used sour cream as suggested in another review and liked it very much. This is like other broccolie casseroles that I have had at holidays and I am glad I now have a recipe for it. Oh, my 2 year old liked it as well - my 3 and 5 yr olds thought I was poisoning them, so wouldn't even taste it - little stinkers.
