Best summer BBQ side dish! Taken it to several parties this year and it was the most requested recipe. So easy. One thing I changed, used 3-4 little packets of Splenda instead of sugar. Will try stevia next.

Delicious! I omitted the tomato and used dried cranberries instead of raisins. I didn't use any sugar, as the cranberries was enough sweetness for my taste. I only used 1/2 cup of mayo. The dressing can easily be adjusted to your liking. I used white wine vinegar instead of white and it was just marvelous. I'm making it again today and am super excited. Thanks Paula!

This salad turned out great! I've made it 2 times each a little differently. I use 2 med. or 1 large/1 small head of broccoli and par cook it for about 3-5 min. so it still has crunch and bright green color. I've tried shredded cheese the 1st time and tiny cubes the next time. I prefer the cubes b/c the shredded cheese was difficult to incorporate through out the salad and there was a lot left at the bottom of the bowl. I left out the tomatoes as I don't care for them and added chopped red bell pepper for color/crunch/extra vitamin C. I like to cut back on the onion as well (about 1/3 C. I find that the full amount of mayo is not necessary. I like about 2/3 C. with the full amount of vinegar and only about a 1/8 C. of sugar. The raisins are great but dried cranberries would put it over the top. As other reviewers noted, nuts would make an excellent addition. Unfortunately, I didn't have any either times that I made this.
