I use this recipe every time I make it- and only tweak just a bit to my liking: I use bacon pieces (like bacon bits but pieces- real ones, not imitation and instead of raisins since I don't really like them- the dried craisins! mmm! I also leave out tomatoes just becuase I don't like them- but the dressing is perfect and think the cheese is what makes it! :

It was so easy and tasty! I had to make it triple portion. I used 3 broccoli, but just double amount dressings & still it was great. I am also not used to eat broccoli as raw, so boiled it for just about 3 min, this dish was a big hit. I am keeping the recipe.

I've been making this salad for years, and everytime asked for the receipe. The only thing I do different, is omit the cheese and use red grapes (cut in half vs. the raisens. SOOOOO GOOD!

I loved this salad and also my guest as well but I did it without raisins and used 1/2 fat-free mayo and 1/2 regular mayo. Thank you Paula for this recipe.

This salad was absolutely delicious! I made a few modifications, mainly to expedite prep-time. I used a bag of fresh broccoli flowerets. I also used a bag of shredded cheese, as well as the pre-cooked bacon that you microwave for 20 sec. This saved me a lot of time. I blanched the broccoli, as others suggested. I added chopped ham to the salad, and the ham took the flavor over the top! I mainly followed the recipe as instructed and I was very pleased with the end result. The raisins in it were scrumptious. The salad was fresh, crunchy, savory, and slightly sweet. It had layers and layers of flavor in every bite! The best part is that it was really easy to make. My husband loved it! He even suggested we take this dish to our next potluck because he was sure others would enjoy it as well. I had some leftovers for lunch the day after I made it, and it was even more delicious! I will definitely be making this broccoli salad again. Thanks so much Paula.

Delicious! Perfect for summer season. I bought two large heads of broccoli at my local farmer's market and I used one of them for this recipe. I love broccoli. I eat it raw every day. This is a fun way of eating it. I can't believe how easy it is to make this, either. I'm thinking of using that other broccoli head for this again. Thank you, Paula.

Great healthy alternative to a potato or pasta salad at a bbq or picnic. As others suggested, I did half greek yogurt/half mayo, halfed the dressing recipe and shredded the cheddar rather than dicing it. I will make this again for sure.

Very tasty. I blanched the broccoli and then chilled it so it was tender. As for the dressing, I used half mayo and half Greek yogurt. Next time I'll also make less of the dressing. It was delicious, but I generally don't like a lot of dressing. Oh and I did add a little lemon zest to the dressing which made it have a fresh taste. Definitely will make again.
