These were absolutely fenominal! So quick, so easy, so deliciously chewy... I couldn't ask for a better brownie replacement (I'm allergic to chocolate. My co-workers loved them too... came back for seconds and thirds (and fourths!.

As I sat and ate HALF, the pan right after they came out the oven. It was absolute gluttony. BTW, I will make them again, I just need more restraint on my part. They are really good.

Rarely are things that are this easy to make are this tasty. Simply ingredients you always have on hand, minimal prep work, sinfully rich desert.

I tried making these and they looked nothing like Paula's. I'm not sure what I did wrong. When I added the light brown sugar to the melted butter, the sugar just soaked up the butter and was still dry. I didn't know what she meant by stirring them until smooth. Is the brown sugar supposed to dissolve into the butter? I kept the sugar and butter over the heat until the sugar started to melt and then I added the rest of the ingredients. Is the consistency of the batter supposed to be on the wet side like a drop cookie batter? I know everyone's raving how easy this recipe is but I'm just a little confused. While the one I made was still decent, I would have liked it to come out as great as Paula's. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh how sweet it is! These chewies are the greatest. I have a simular recipe that I tried after the holidays and it didn't turn out. But I watched Paula as she prepared this wonderful sweet and great enough to keep and eat recipe! It is very moist. I added extra pecans and also added semi-sweet chocolate chips, and 1 Tablespoon of vanilla, into the mix before I added it to my baking dish and they turned out wonderful. I will be baking these over and over again. So for all of you that reads the reviews of the recipes, please try this. You cannot go wrong. And they really are deliscious. They need to add another rating besides just 5 stars, because this would be 100 stars from me! Also Paula, I live less than an hour from you, and I am going to surprise you one day and turn up on your front porch. I so dearly love Paula and her show, she is very entertaining and such a HAPPY real and true LADY. Keep up the great work and I will see you soon.

My sister just loves these delicious every-once-in-a-while treat! I don't make them all the time, because sometimes you just need a chocolate fix, but they're great around Christmastime with a bit of pumpkin pie spice in them!

These are sooooo yummy, and even easier to make! Personally, I think they beat the pants off of traditional chocolate brownies!
