    I love brussel sprouts and this is just another way to enjoy them, I actually tossed a handful of frozen shrimp into the pan and a couple pieces of frozen white fish and served it with some nice crusty bread to soak up the broth, it was awesome.

    My sprouts were pretty big so I cut them in half, I would not change a thing, this is great. Thank you Paula, oh and Montana says hi to lady bird, he goes nuts when he see's or hear's her on tv

    Perfect, easy, delicious. I cut it in half & still worked great -- cooked ~same amt of time (12min. Tasted when I took off & good, but post-butter...WOW. To FireFountain in NY: I urge you to try again, but w/ the top on. It's a must -- otherwise you lose all the great broth it steams in, making it tender. You must've had a dry mess. Up the bacon, add the lid, & I bet hubby will grub. ;

    This dish was absolutely delicious! My family loved it! I used frozen baby brussels, but it turned out perfect. Way to go Paula, again! Very easy and very low carb friendly!

    It convinced my husband and son that brussels sprouts are not just baby cabbages, but really tasty morsels. Really easy and quick.

    The perfect Christmas sprout!!! OUr first year with this recipe and it is now proclaimed the official veg for the holiday meal. It was so tasty and people who really don't care for them ate them and enjoyed them. Keeping this one in the folder.

    I think that more people should learn how to cook brussels sprouts this way instead of just hating them! They are delicious when prepared this way.

    This recipe was just ok. I thought it was adequate, but I've definitely had better brussel sprout dishes. My husband, who only likes brussel sprouts in certain dishes, absolutely hated this dish. Also, it took forever for it to cook - a lot longer than 15 minutes (more like 30-40 min. However, I did forget to cover the pan during the simmering so that probably didn't help any. I probably won't make this one again.
