Oh, My!! Anything you can add beer to seems to turn out great. That yeasty aroma and taste is the best. I had misgivings at first, but remembered some unusual onion rings I had in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. I was told that they were BEER BATTERED. So. I made these, and Thank you Paula and Salute Bubba!

These biscuits do the trick. I like the twist of adding the beer to the batter. Served them with country fried steaks and sopped up that white milky gravy with them. Yum!

What a great, tasty and simple recipe! I had my husband give me his opinion then had him guess what the secret ingredient was. He did guess after about 6 guesses..lol This will be a keeper for us!

I recently made these biscuits for a girls' get-together, and they were a hit! I used Mich Ultra (about 16 oz because I added a little more flour, baked them for the earlier end of the time suggested, and they turned out great! I topped one with honey and ate one right out of the oven - had to stop myself from eating the entire batch!

These biscuits were absolutely delicious - especially with the honey butter! My husband devoured them. The only thing to watch for is burning. I baked them 20 minutes because the tops don't look browned at all but there was a little burning of the biscuits inside the muffin tin. I would stick with 15 minutes even if the tops don't look golden - they are done.
