This is one of my favorite seafood pasta dishes! Bubba outdid himself on this one & I felt like a professional chef when everyone raved about it. Be sure you allow the liquid to reduce by half & use crushed tomatoes, otherwise your sauce won't thicken as its supposed to. The first time I made this dish,my grocery store was out of crushed tomatoes so I had to use diced instead. I mashed the heck out of the diced tomatoes, but there was too much liquid and my sauce didn't thicken. You gotta give it a try!! :-

I kind of re-worked this recipe as I went. I did not have the shrimp or cream. I started with a caramelize diced onion then added the garlic, pepper flakes, 1 tsp. capers and tomatoes. It is tomato season so I used 22 oz. of blanched tomatoes from the garden instead of a can. My scallops were small so i just added them at the end of cooking and turned the heat off. I also added 1/3 cup of sour cream instead of cream before serving. It was wonderful!

Really delicious! love the creaminess. I could not get bay scallops
so used Diver and quartered them. Made the caesar salad with it and the meal was super!

First thing out of Kevin's mouth was "you can make THIS again!" I AM...tonite! Totally awesome, so much so that Kevin bragged to his friends he had shrimp cooked in vodka. They were impressed. Thanks for making me look good Paula! Love y'alllllll!

This is one of my favorite recipes. I followed some of the previous reviewers' tips. I tossed my uncooked shrimp (I only used shrimp in some olive oil and Cajun seasonings and let it sit for a few minutes while I chopped 1/2 cup of onion. I then sauteed the shrimp for a few minutes in the olive oil; remove them to a bowl; added the onion and sauteed until soft; added the garlic, and then followed the recipe as written after that. It makes great left-overs too! I may make this for company and make the sauce ahead of time.

Excellent pasta dish! I followed the recipe with the exception of adding chopped onion and a little more red pepper flakes. Very, very good!! This is definitely a "keeper" recipe for our house!! Also, just a side note, mine did not come out "runny" at all, as some others have posted...and I didn't add flour or anything extra. Just followed it as it is...try it before you adjust, it may come out too thick and pasty.

My husband and I made this for dinner tonight. I used 1 tablespoon of Red Pepper flakes and added some chopped onions, because my honey likes it hot! LOL It was fabulous!!! It had great spice, the onions gave it some texture and the cream brought down the acidic taste. It made plenty for two and have leftovers for tomm night. I will make this when I have friends for dinner.
It's a winner! Thanks Paula.
