OMG!!! This was sooo good. I increased the pepper flakes to 1 teaspoon (because I like heat and used angel hair pasta. Perfect. Unlike some, my sauce was not runny, however, I dried my shrimp and scallops with a paper towel before using. I love a good vodka sauce and this recipe did not disappoint. It's a keeper. Thanks Paula!

I loved the idea of this recipe a classic Italian pink vodka sauce with seafood and spicy red pepper flakes what a great combo.
I basically followed the recipe as is. I did saute the shrimp first took them out of the pan and then followed the recipe. I also added chopped Italian parsley.
My husband and I loved it! Thanks Bubba

Well, after reading the other reviews I decided not to follow the recipe as is. I didn't use the vodka, I used white wine, I also added a chopped shallot with the garlic, and cooked the prawns with that, then removed all to a bowl, then I added the wine, reduced, and then the tomatoes and cream, then I added the prawns back in and a huge handful of parmesan. I used all prawns as well, due mainly to the cost of the scallops (£17.00 a kilogram!, and I used a tablespoon of cajun spice on them before cooking. It was not a 'soupy mess' as one person stated, it tasted okay, but with as many changes as you need to make to get it to taste good, then I can't really rate this any higher.

My boyfriend and I love this dish. I sub the vodka for white wine, used a teaspoon and a half of pepper flakes, and added a little flour and water mix to thicken. Also, I seasoned the seafood and sauted it first and then added it back in later (otherwise the seafood would be bland. It was delish...tasted even better the next day.

Delish....I used shrimp and spicy chicken patties because I don't like scallops, and I LOVE it! Thank You Bubba!

Yuk! Preparing this recipe was a complete waste of time and good ingredients. How can I say it? Bland, flavorless, soupy mess. My wife and I love seafood, so we wanted to give this recipe a try, but about half way through the preparation I realized that there were not enough spices to give the recipe any flavor. Rather than try and doctor the flavor I followed the recipe as printed. What a mistake. In order for this recipe to succeed, you need to saute the seafood in Cajun spices by themselves, and add them to the sauce at the end of the cooking process. Also, in order to get the sauce to thicken, you need to drain the tomatoes before adding to the Vodka/cream mixture. As presented, this recipe is marginally eatable.

Tried this recipe for the first time. Delicious! I used cod fish instead of shrimp and scallop, because my boyfriend is not too fond of shrimp. First, I coated the cod in a flour mixture of onion powder, paprika, cayenne, salt and pepper. I pan fried the fish and set it aside. Then I followed the recipe, but added chopped parsley to the tomato mixture. I plated the pasta, then topped it with the fish and drizzled more sauce over the fish. It was a hit. It was the right amount of spice. I liked how easy it was to prepare. Thanks Bubba.

This recipe was not good. It came out very bland tasting. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one was that it was edible, it was just really plain. This recipe could have potential if something else is added, it isn't bad tasting, it's just so plain that after a few bites it's difficult to eat. I was really disappointed to waste good seafood and vodka on such a boring, plain meal.

I wanted to make something different and this seemed different. After reading all the reviews and most saying how thin and bland it was, I kicked it up with my own style. I added onion & parsley to the garlic and vodka. After adding the crushed tomatoes, I whipped the heavy cream to a thick consistency before adding. I also added some Parmesean cheese before adding the shrimp. Everyone agreed...it was yummy!
