I rated this a 4 because I didn't see this show so I just used the recipe. My 1st meringue went down the drain. I used Emerils meringue recipe and that worked. Love you Paula-keep being fun.

This was a SUPER easy reciepe that taste really good! The only thing I would change next time is 3 egg whites to get a taller meringue for it! But just a basic good tasting and simple key lime pie! Thanks Paula Deen!!

I juiced fresh key limes for this pie and the result was fantastic. It was a big hit.

Made this pie last night--I don't know why it isn't listed as "easy." It is very good--the key lime juice I had called for only 1/4 c and I may follow that guide next time as this was lip puckering tart. Helped me momentarily with my Key West homesickness. Thanks Paula!

I made this key lime pie as a dessert at one of my families barbecues. It was an immediate success! The first pie went so fast, I had to go in the kitchen and bake another one so the rest of the guests can have a slice! I had tried many other key lime pies, but Paula's was the best I have ever tasted. And was it was very simple to make and required few ingredients and little preparation. Im only 13 years old, and trust me, if I could make it, anybody can. Go out and bake this pie. You won't regret it!

This pie turned out excellent! Just the right amount of lime. As for the "Native Floridian's" comment, the cream of tartar was for the meringue, not the pie. I didn't try the crust with almonds, but next time I think I will. I didn't this time because I didn't have any on hand. I would also add, putting it in the fridge will help it set up real good! It was gone within 24 hours and I only got one slice!
