This dip was absolutely loved by all. The one and only problem encountered with this by not keeping it in a fondu pot or mini crock pot to keep it warm as one review stated is, it firmed up like a fudge. Just a few seconds in the microwave solved the problem although it was an inconvenience. We kept a plastic spoon in the container so everyone could load up their fruit with this dip. Sometimes the dip didn't stay on the fresh fruit just by dipping it. When I was asked about the recipe I simply stated 'Paula Deen, Butterscotch Dip' and they knew where to find it.

Perfect every time! And sooo delicious. Everyone will love it, even the people who claim they don't like sweets. I always halve this recipe though. Keep it in a fondu pot or mini crock to keep it warm. Bananas and apples are the best with this! Just slice the bananas thick so they are less likely to fall off your fork/stick into the dip.
