WHEN I MADE THIS IT DID NOT THICKEN SO I PUT IT BACK ON THE HEAT AND ADDED A LITTLE MORE FLOUR AND CORNSTARCH. AFTER IT COOLED IT WAS PERFECT . I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO WATCH THIS EPISODE AGAIN AND SHE USES 1 CUP OF FLOUR NOT HALF. ENJOY!!!

This has a really nice flavor. The only problem I had was that it would'nt thicken. I made it and cooked it as directed and put it in the fridge for 4 hours. It still was the consistency of hersey's chocolate syrup. So I re-heated it, then I heated a little milk and put some cornstarch in it, and then added it to the reheated butterscotch mixture. Then I put it back in the fridge for several hours. This was better. Still not super thick, but definately worked for the pie. good, good flavor.
