Although I haven't made the crisps, the recipe for the dressing is excellent! (I prefer just croutons, no tomatoes!

We eat lots of salads and my husband just loved this one. I used anchovy paste instead of anchovies and left the tomatoes out! Really good!

Sorry, gotta go against the crowd here and say the dressing was not all that great. It was very olive oily and didn't have a lot of flavor otherwise. The parmesan crisps, now they were out of this world! And so easy, we will make them all the time for our caesar salads.

This was a great version of Caesar Dressing. I always make my own creamy version, but was looking for something different this time. My husband is a Caesar fanatic and loved this. I didn't have anchovy fillets but always keep anchovy paste on hand and used three tsp of that instead. I added chopped fresh parsley also. Instead of the classic using only romaine hearts I added the tomato as well as avocado cucs and red onion. This was a real winner in my book.

i just used the dressing portion of the recipe. loved it. easy-peasy and yummy. i may back off some of the EVOO next time, but it was super good. we're not anchovy people, but i put some kalmata olives with the salad and i think still got the same salt effect. thanks for another winner, paula!

Loved the dressing but couldn't get the parmesan crisps to come out right. On the show Paula said to use the packaged parmesan cheese because it is lower in fat, which I did. I plan to try again using my regular parmesan that I buy in a wedge and grate myself. Overall this was a great salad that I will make often.

I saw the show and realized I had everything except the anchovies, so off to the store I went. Let me tell ya, this dressing was worth the trip to the store! I have added the recipe to my box and plan to make it several times in the summer months to come. Hubby asked for the Caesar salad and dressing to go along with grilled steaks, and he even stayed in the kitchen to help me make it! Now if I can only get him to do the dishes...

I made this for a family friend along with a great pasta dish, she has 5 kids, and they all loved it... If you can please 5 kids with a salad, you must be doing something right!!!

So easy and delicious. She said to use the store-grated parmesan because it had less oil in it. Works perfectly.
