i was afraid these bars would be too sweet...on the contrary. They are perfectly balanced and will be on the menu for the next get together!

These were the best bars I've made. They were easy, easy, easy. Everyone who tasted them, loved them. The apples are a tedious task but well worth the effort.

Although cutting up the apples into tiny pieces is a bit time-consuming, it is well worth it! This dessert is now one of my husband's favorites and it is pretty easy to make (after prepping the apples. Wish I could make it right now...

I've made this recipe several times and haven't had any problems that some of other readers ran across. I do however like a little more cheesecske filling so I make 1.5 of the cheesecake. The apple streusel and carmel give it a unique taste treat and something different. Since you can cut into small squares it's great to take to potlucks or for large gathering.

I'm disappointed in the way the recipe ends. I didn't see this on a show, only found it on the website. Having made many a cheesecake in my day, I am familiar with how to test whether it is done. Mine required nearly double the cooking time stated in the recipe because it is so deep in the pan. Also, the recipe doesn't state anything about chilling it, removing it from the pan, etc. I expect foodnetwork recipes to be better written.

Really good! My son, who likes to critique new recipes, said that it is really good with an unexpected burst of apple flavor that kind of throws you off at first, but delicious! The only thing I would like to change on it is the crust, I will either cut back on the flour or use graham cracker crumbs the next time. The aluminum foil trick works great....I refrigerated them and then put on the caramel before removing from the pan and cutting. All I can say is " Move over apple pie....there is a new favorite in town!"

I watched one of Paula's shows, where she made this. I have made this recipe at least 5 times now! Everyone who has tasted these cheesecake squares absolutely loves them! The apples, cinnamon, oats, cream cheese, YUMMY! I would rate this 10 stars if I could

It's a simple recipe to put together and is one of the best desserts I've ever made and had. I love the crust, the filling, the topping! What's not to love about this dish? This weekend is the Canadian Thanksgiiving and I'll be serving it instead of a Autumn Cheesecake I would normally. I am absolutely sure that my guests will be requesting this dessert for all family gatherings!

This recipe is so good that I can eat the whole pan! My husband loves it so I made it for him and sent the leftovers with him to work so I wouldn't eat it. His office loved it! Great for a gathering or party.
