Paula talks about pleasure foods well this is one that ranks very very high in my husbands tastebuds. When I made this and took it out of the oven he could not wait to dig into it and he didn't. His comments were this is the best thing you have ever made and everything you make is really good, but this is the ultimate. He would not even take it to work and share with his coworks he just went there with his and tormented them with it.

Excellent recipe, tasty, relatively easy, and used mostly ingredients I have on hand. Made especially for my son-in-law who loves cheese cake. Paula comes through again.

This recipe made one fabulous-tasting dessert, and it was easy to make.
The only thing I did not like was the fact that ice cream topping is drizzled over that beautiful dessert. I could not bear to make a homemade crust, homemade cheesecake and homemade streusel topping, and then pour that fake carmel in a jar over the top. I made a 2-minute caramel (brown sugar, butter, corn syrup in the microwave and drizzled that over the top instead.
