I saw Paula fix this recipe and immediately went to my computer to get it. I was, as always, asked to bring a dessert to our Super Bowl gathering. I brought these bars. They were simple to make!! They give you a different twist on the normal cheesecake. I had never made cheesecake before and this being my first experience, I think I did pretty darn good!
When I plopped these bars down on the table at the party, people started gathering!! By the end of the night, I had 1/8th of the dish left (enough for my kids at home who were mad because I didn't leave them any before the party. I had people asking me for the recipe, which I easily guided them to Paula on this website.
Thank you Paula for a fantastic recipe! My mom and I just love you to death!! Keep up the fantastic work!!

Great recipe! It's the best of both worlds - like apple crisp and cheesecake together in one scrumptious bite!

Thanks for correcting the recipe - that missing 1/2 C. of sugar threw me for a minute.

These are so good, they must be illegal!!! I made them, and shared with a couple of friends too, besides my husband & I, and let me tell you, they all thought they had died and went to heaven!! I am making them at least every other month. Mmmmmmm

I made them for a pot luck, they almost didn't make it there because they look SO GOOD when they come out of the oven. The recipe as written is perfect. Absolutely delicious!! Go Paula!
