This is a great recipe but I think it needs to be proofread and adjusted. The ingredient portion calls for 1/2 cup and 2 Tblsp. sugar, divided. The recipe, however, neglects to tell you where to put the 1/2 cup of sugar. A novice baker will ruin this recipe time after time.

The recipe was great except, there was no location on the recipe to put the 1/2 cup sugar. I ended up dedging the suger through the already poured cheesecake mixture.

This was great. The recipe did not tell you were to use the 1/2C. sugar. I added it to the cream cheese mixture and it worked just great.

In the recipe on here, it doesn't say when to add the of white sugar, just watch the show. It goes in with the cream cheese.

I made this for a dinner party and it was a hit! I even made a homemade caramel sauce and it was so good. This is definitely a keeper. Thanks, Paula, for a savory dessert and making me look like a professional chef! : Note: The 1/2 cup sugar goes in the cream cheese mixture.
