This is an amazing cheesecake recipe. You will not regret making it. I did reduce the bottom crust portion by 1/3 and it was perfect. Everyone who tastes ths loves it, guaranteed.

I stuck to the recipe, except that I did half the recipe for Streusel Topping, and left it in the oven for 1 hour instead of 30 minutes.
It was delicious, everybody in my family loved it! The cheesecake, apple, cinnamon and everything was the perfect mixture.

I stuck with the recipe - and loved every bite of it!! Took some to work, and everyone raved about it.
In retrospect, some of the reviews make sense now. The cheesecake "layer" was lost amidst all the other flavors, so if you love cheesecake - double that portion of the recipe. If you follow Paula to the letter - youll get a lot of the crumb and base - which is my favourite part so that worked out great!! Thats the best part of this recipe - whatever you like more - just double that portion of the recipe :

I made this for fathers day and my 9 year old nephew said it was the best cheesecake he's ever had, and his dad, my brother, is a pastry chef. It's already been requested for the next family get together. After reading other reviews I doubled the cheesecake filling and used a slightly larger baking pan and it turned out perfect. I loved how easy it was to prepare.

This is a great recipe; however, I changed it from bars to an actual cheesecake baked in a 10 inch springform pan. I doubled the Cheesecake portion of the recipe too to make it more substantial. It turned out great. I love Paula Deen!

These bars are yummy! I do some catering and these are requested many times! The baking time does need to be longer for them to fully set. I also always refrigerate them for several hours or overnight and even then they can't set out for very long or they will fall apart.

First of all - make sure you watch the video! There is at least one ingredient I noticed that was left out of the written recipe. This dessert was delicious. I made it and took it to work and got nothing but compliments. When I make it again I will cut down the amount of crust and probably increase the amount of cheesecake filling. Also, I wouldn't recommend making this as something to have sitting around your house to munch on. Even the next day it definitely did not taste as good, so make sure it can be eaten fast!

These were soo good. However, like the other reviewers, it definitely needed more baking time!

Took this to a firehouse gathering, and they couldn't stop eating them. The crust did take longer as stated, But I found it to be quite easy to assemble everything while the crust was baking. I only had one concern. I chilled mine prior to cutting into bars, however they were very crumbly and the cheesecake was still very creamy. Does anyone have any suggestions or tricks for how to cut into bars so they aren't falling apart?
