It's pretty good but not a cheese cake, more of a apple cheese dessert. Checked my oven a couple of times thinking there was something wrong with it, turns out oven is fine but the 35 minuted of cooking time have got to be wrong!!!!!!! or maybe the 350 is wrong?? don't know about you but I had to cook mine for 55 minutes and it was still soft in the center, even coming out of the fridge, also I thought a little to sweet. This really makes me want to continue searching for my grandmas old recipe, thanks anyway Paula still lovya lady.

I have made this cheesecake many times and every time it is just delicious!! I took one to work and didn't come home with any. I like the fact that it is so simple to make and it is definitely on the Thanksgiving menu for tomorrow, which I will be making tonight:

I had been meaning to try this recipe for a year and finally made it for Thanksgiving. It was such a hit, that my daughter in law had to hide a piece for her husband because everyone fought over it. People were asking me who taught me to make it. I said "Paula Deen". I got many requests to make a special one for a few people. I'm making it again for Christmas, only this time I have to make more than a few. Sooooo good. Thanks Paula!

With so many good reviews, how could I not try this for Thanksgiving? Looks great! I'm an avid baker and I have a big preference towards recipes made from scratch though, so when I make this I'll make my own graham cracker crust, caramel, and put my own special touches to the apple pie filling :

I was skeptical at first with all of the premade ingredients, but I went along with it anyways as I didn't have much time- SO glad I did. I did have to bake it quite a bit longer, but overall this was delicious. Going to make it for my mother for Thanksgiving, and if she likes it then I know it's a keeper!

This sounded so wonderful, I made it yesterday on sheer whim instead of my standard dinner party dessert of ice cream. I followed the directions exactly (except I used reduced fat cream cheese. I filled the shell to brimming & had some cream cheese mix left over. I could have easily used a larger pie shell. The middle wasn't done after 35 minutes so I turned it in the oven for evenness and cooked it about another 10 minutes, watching it carefully. Then I took it out and covered it with foil. In about 30 minutes the middle was clearly cooked through (knife test. The dinner was labor intensive - this was NOT. It was scrumptiously yummy, not too sweet and my guests really enjoyed it. I can see how you could have fun with this recipe and other pie fillings - peach, blueberry, cherry. This is a definite keeper! Thanks, Paula!!
