Do your mouth a favor and make/eat this! My uncle NEVER eats desserts when we have family gatherings, and not only did he eat this one, he wanted me to make an extra one for him to take home! It's easy and delicious!

I just made this for my housewarming party and this was the BIGGEST hit!! I doubled the recipe to make 2 cheesecakes; forgot a couple eggs, hand mixer broke and it was still delicious. Making one for work and for tailgating this next weekend :

I love to cook and I have tried hundreds of 5 star rated recipes here on the FN website...this was my least favorite. The whole thing had a really weird flavor and a soggy texture to it and I followed the recipe exactly.

Thank you Paula, this was delicious! I made it twice. The first time I used an inexpensive brand of canned apples which didn't taste too good. But the second time it was perfect with better quality apples.

Huge Father's Day hit! Whole family LOVED it! Very easy to make, did use the Keebler 9" + servings pie shell which seemed to be the perfect size. Will make again!

I already did a post on this , but doing another one . Going to try to use strawberry pie filling and strawberry ice cream topping this time and see how it goes . Anyone else try it with a different topping?

Will have to try this again with a slightly bigger pie shell. Keebler makes 9" + "2 extra servings" size that ought to do it. I still had some of the cream cheese filling left, and the shell was at the overflow point. Like a lot of people mentioned, the center didn't set up as well as the edges, which did had the consistency I expected. I baked it 35 minutes in a temperature controlled convection oven, and the top was starting to brown. Will have to experiment with this. But it tasted really good. I added some extra pecans, because I love 'em, and I had some really good ones from around San Saba, Texas, where they grow the best pecans in the world. Really good pecans are tan, like a chamois, not dark brown.
