I made these exactly to recipe, which I always do to begin with and they were delicious. But, I was wondering how it would be if the topping was swirled into the chocolate base before baking. I'm thinking of trying that next time unless anybody can think of a reason why that wouldn't work. It was an easy and scrumptious recipe so, as always, Paula did it again!

These are very sweet with the caramel topping, but good. Be careful not to overcook.

I tried these brownies exactly the way Paula made them on her show (by crumbling the brown sugar and butter topping on top of the batter instead of dissolving it in a saucepan with the butter and substituted the pecans for walnuts (because that was all I had here at the house and they were so sinfully delicious. I didn't want to share, but I knew that I couldn't keep them to myself because I wanted everyone to try my masterpiece! :-

I made these using the crumble topping method. I will make these many times, as my family loved them.

This recipe is well worth trying. I was some hesitant to try this as I like just a plain brownie....but....it definitely is a wonderful brownie. I didn't use the pecans as my family prefers no nuts. I also mixed the butter & brown sugar and used it as a crumble topping. It sure is hard to not eat too many of these!!

SO EASY. I took them to work and one guy said they were the best brownies he had ever eaten. Needless to say there weren't left to take home. I'll have to bake another batch for the family this weekend.

These brownies were just as easy, but much tastier than regular brownies. I like how you can use a store bought mixture to save time.

I made these using my own brownie recipe in a square pan and halved the brown sugar/pecan mixture (I also made it like Paula did on the show. The brownies turned out excellent - my husband loved them, too. They're great still kind of warm out of the oven.
