This was sooo good. The pudding alone is a little sweet because of the condensed milk but the fruit topping is a perfect compliment to it. It's a must try for cold winter days.

Just too sweet for our tastes and I couldn't find short grain rice anywhere.

This was delicious. I have to say though it was not as good the next day. When eaten right away however, it is delicious!

I really don't know what Carolina gold rice is; can I use Arborio rice instead?
Doen anyone know the answer to my question? This sounds like a great recipe; I am a big fan of sweetened condensed milk.
    Thanks for any help

My husband had a hunting accident two weeks ago. He is in need of comfort food. I have tried to make rice pudding before but was always surprise at how BAD my attempts turned out. It was never "Like my mom use to make", and since she is no longer with us to ask I was at a loss. But this recipe worked and made me his Christmas miracle. Thank you, Wanda

We all loved this dish. Even my daughter, who hates rice thought it was good. We didn't try the sauce. It was good without. Everything I have made from Paula's recipes have been great.
