this is more of a message to help those of you who can no longer find the other recipes..... if you go to top where the name of the episode is.... click on it... all the other recipes are there.... Now I dont want to screw up rating since I havent tried it yet.... so will rate well.. have made brown sugar carrots before but not with wind... can only assume that will be a welcomed addition.

I made some mistakes on this receipe. That's what I get when I am trying to be an Iron Chef in my own kitchen. I overcooked the chives which makes them "wimpy" when trying to tie them around the carrot bundles. I also bought some pre-cut carrot sticks. My advice is still to even them up. Another tip is do not let your sauce stand too long or else it will get clumpy. This is a receipe where you need to watch what you are doing. I will definitely try again. Got a good smile when fiance saw what I was attempting. We were together when Paula's episode was on when she was making this. Feel free to use sparkling white grape juice if you do not have win or cannot have alcohol.

This was simple and has super flavor, I also tried with Sweet Potatoes cutting them the same way as the carrots and it was perfect!

I love Paula, so when I had two bunches of baby carrots still on the stems and wanted something to dress them up a bit, this was it! I didn't slice them (they were already so little and I didn't bundle them. I was out of wine and used brandy instead, and boy was that a great idea!!! Brandied sugared carrots! They were ALL gone with three men folk in twenty minutes. Thanks Paula!

Instead of wine I used, 1/4 cup of light syrup, teaspoon of cinnamon, and a teaspoon of vanilla flavoring. My family loved this recipe.

Not sure about you, but if I look to my right there are drop down menu's that say "Similar Recipes" and there is another drop down menu that says "Other recipes from this episode" and that's where the other recipes are. It's been like that for a while now. Anyways, this side dish is pretty good and something different to make and show on a plate.

My mother made these when I was a child. It was the only way I would eat carrots. She did the bundles with pared pieces of celery, instead of chives. Doubt she knew about them. I agree with Marlene also. Food Network used to show ALL the recipes featured on a show. They don't do that anymore. When I pull up the carrot bundles, it won't give me the onion pie or the meat loaf. Would like to see it go back to the way it was.

The recipe for this sauce is not attached to the meatloaf recipe, so I did a search for the sauce recipe, and nothing comes up except for the meatloaf recipe without the recipe for the sauce.
