My daughter and I just prepared these biscuits and they could have used more cheese. (i'm a rat We thought they would be really cheesy. They were still good though!

I tried these and they are awesome. My kids can?t get enough of them. I used a teaspoon of salt and a half-teaspoon of garlic salt. The garlic salt really added a great taste. My first batch came out a little dry also. From that point on, when I added the buttermilk I mixed them with my bare hands. That way I could get the exact consistency I wanted. BTW ? don?t? expect them to brown a lot. If they don?t rise (they won't much, or if they are too hard, are you using self-rising flour? If you?re not experienced making biscuits, I recommend Alton Brown?s book, I?m Just Here For More Food ? read the Biscuit Method.

Ouch--i don't know what went wrong. I followed the recipe to a t and the biscuits never browned and they were brick hard and very salty. I know what putting salt in biscuits mean and i didn't put alot and i didn't even taste any cheese flavor at all. No comparison to Red Lobster at all!!!!!!!! Terrible

The biscuits came out very dry, but maybe I over baked them. Will give it another shot.

I was so excited to make these. I love biscuits. As soon as I poured the buttermilk in it didn't look right. Too dry. They didn't raise, or brown and they were under cooked. I left some in longer but it didn't help. Not much taste either. Cracker Barrels are better.

Very Good! Instead of Self Rise'n Flour I used Normal Flour and instead of 1TBSP Baking Powder I used 2 to 3 TBSP of Baking Powder.. I also forget to put salt in it so I just added salt to the melted butter and spred it over em... BOY WE'RE THEY GOOD! also they didn't seem to brown for me.. very Odd.. But hey! they're hard to burn!!!
