I tried this because it was made out of ingredients I keep in my kitchen everyday. It was super simple and turned out great! It almost tasted like a cross between mac and cheese and fettucine alfredo. Highly recommend.

I made this recipe, exactly as directed and it was fine. There was nothing wrong with it but it just didn't have much to it. My kids actually passed on it as well. It reminds me of a kugel and would probably be a good base to add some scallions and browned ground chicken or something, just to make it more substantial. Just not Paula's best effort but I'll keep trying.

The noodles are cooked, just add the other ingredients to the noodles, sprinkle grated cheese on top, bake in oven till top gets brown, 5 min. and you have a flavorful dish without baking it for 45 min.terry pompano beach fl.

I tried the Cheese Noodles (Bag Lady and thought they did not have much flavor. I really think 1 cup of parmesean was too much for the top. My kids did not care for them either. I still love Paula though!

To be honest, I haven't made this yet, but am planning on making it this week. I may tweak the recipe a little, but I watched her make it yesterday and it sounds a whole lot like something my mom made when I was little and I loved it - Noodles Romanoff. I am very excited to try it, as the product is no longer available!

The flavor was good but it was just too dry. Maybe I cooked it too long...or maybe it needed something else...but it was almost inedible.

I just watched a repeat of the show. Paula repeats several times to bake the noodles for 20 - 25 minutes -- not the 45 minutes listed in the recipe. This should help those who said it was too dried out.

I substituted ricotta for the cottage cheese and it was wonderful!
