This is excellent! I tried this some time ago and everyone loved it (minus the peppers and I'm having dinner guests and wanted a sure thing! Even for not-so-big-fans of meatloaf, they'll love it!

I made this recipe last night. I had 3.25 lbs of ground beef. I tripled all of the ingredients. My husband and sons loved it. They all said they will never want regular meatloaf again. Follow the recipe and it will come out perfectly.

Meatloaf turned out tasty, however I forgot to add the sour cream. I will make again, but next time I will add one more egg and maybe some breads crumbs to the crackers...o yeah and I hope not to forget the cream!

I enjoyed trying this recipe, it was very tasty.
However, since many folks said it was salty, I used 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder & 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper for MY House Seasoning and eliminated the Salt.
The recipe states: 1 teaspoon House Seasoning (garlic powder, black pepper, and salt
What exactly does That mean?
I think this recipe should clarify the EXACT amount of garlic powder, black pepper, and salt being used in the House Seasoning.
Are we suppose to assume this means 1/3 teaspoon of each? or are we suppose to assume this means 1 teaspoon of each?

This is the best meatloaf recipe EVER! I make this meatloaf a couple times a year and my family thinks it's not often enough. This meatloaf with the sauce and a pan of scalloped potatoes makes one of the best meals. I do agree that it is a little salty so cut back on the salt and just add pepper and garlic powder. This will definitely be a recipe that I will hold onto and pass down to my kids. Thank you Paula!
