Easy and delicious...even without the water chestnuts. The recipe omitted instructions for the water chestnuts.

Even my pickiest eater liked this dish. I made it per the recipe. I took a family poll at the end of the meal and the overall rating was a 4 with a 4.9 and 4.5 included. They said they'd like to have it again. "Picky" suggested leaving out the water chestnuts. The rest of us thought the water chestnuts added a nice texture.

If you are looking for something easy to make that is delicious and filling, this is a perfect recipe! It is filling enough to just have a good portion of it with something else that is small. I served it with Cheese Bratworst (sp?. My husband loves it so much he's wondering when I'll make it again. The other 2 ratings that didn't give high marks don't know what good food is. Way to go as usual Paula!

Kids loved it and it's very quick to fix. Beings I am not fond of processed cheese I substituted jack cheese for the processed and added sharp chedder on top. There were no left overs.

I'll admit that I was a bit of a Velveeta snob when I saw Paula make this recipe, but when I got three requests for the recipe from our luncheon guests, I knew I'd been wrong. You barely taste the "cheese product" -- the real flavors come from the mushrooms and onions, and the grated (real cheese on top. And of course, the fresh broccoli can't be beat.

Many steps involved in making, and does not taste really well.
