Very easy to put together. Sauteed the veggies until al dente to leave some chew and texture. Mixed about 1/3 sleeve of Ritz into the casserole and used half sour cream and half Philly garlic cooking cream. On top mixed whole sleeve of Ritz crumbs with extra cheddar cheese for crispy topping. Had texture and very flavorful.

Yummies!!! Even all the men who only like meat infused veggies loved this one! I substituted Philadelphia Cooking Creme Savory Garlic for the sour cream, turned out fantastico!! Thanks Paula!

Was not loving this.I like my veggies al dente and this was mush. I expected mush cause it is a southern dish and it seems that southerners do not like to taste their veggies! They slather them with butter, cheese or mayo. Giada makes a delicious veggie casserole using zucchini but yellow squash would be just as good. Giada's casserole uses only olive oil and s and p so healthy too!

I followed the recipe exactly, but wasn't too crazy about it. I think if I ever tried this recipe again I would dice the squash and onions as I wasn't crazy about the wormy like texture. The flavor was ok. Honestly the taste made me think of baby food for some reason.

I make this recipe every Easter. My family always ask for it. They think I am the best cook ever. Thanks Paula. Over the past years you have helped me fool my family very often. We love you and your family.

OMG! This was sooooo good! I was out of sour cream so I used plain Greek yogurt instead. It was delicious and I will definitely be making this again and again and will recommend it to friends and family!!! Love it!

This recipe is great! Even people who don't really care for squash love it. It has become a staple for holiday meals in my family and circle of friends. It goes great with all the Thanksgiving staples...I've also cooked it with zucchini and yellow squash which makes for a very pretty and tasty addition.
