    Paula has done it again. This is the best chicken and dumplings I've ever eaten.Although I did read the reviews before making and also only used two quarts of water.I also like mine thicker so added extra thickening. As for leftovers,there's only two of us so we had it heated up the next night.Just remove the dumplings untl the rest is heated and then put them back in to heat through. Even better the second night!

    This is a great recipe but if you use as much liquid as the recipe calls for you need to add another boullion cube and some more seasoning, also had to thicken it quite a bit. Next time I will use about 1/4 less water. All in all it will be a regular at my house though.

    This recipe tasted fabulous. Only thing, I reduced the water to 2 1/2 quarts and there was still too much liquid. Next time I'm going to just cover the chiken and double the dumpling recipe. Also, I'd cut the dumplings into 1 by 4 strips, otherwise they are way long. Great recipe though.

    This was very good. I followed the recipe exactly and will have to agree that it calls for too much water. I had to add two more chicken bouillon cubes and some salt to make up for it. I used regular bisquick dumplings with chives, salt and pepper mixrd in to the batter instead. Delicious! I did have a lot left over though and was not sure how to save it.

    Did not use alot of seasoning/spices, and was a little leary that it would be bland. What an incredible surprise! The blend of flavors was amazing. And there was no need for additional salting. Instead of using the dumpling recipe at the bottom, I just used bisquick for the dumplings. My husband said I can make this over and over again.

    My husband and daughter are the pickiest eaters and they devoured this dish!! Very very good and very easy to prepare. My 7 year old daughter helped me with the dumplings and really had a good time helping. Enjoy!
