This is a delicious and easy recipe. I made it as a half recipe for myself. So, with 1/2 of everything (soup water chestnuts, etc.left in my fridge,, I decided to make it again but with canned tuna. That, too , got rave reviews when I shared it with friends.

As with all of Paula's recipes I have to cut the fat. Also don't like cream of celery soup and have tried this using cream of chicken & cream of mushroom soup. Also used fresh string beans blanched, and broccoli, celery, onion & red peppers, also used asparagus successfully & omitted the water chestnuts & pimentos which my family hates. I only used 1/2 cup of low fat mayo and it was still plenty. So don't be afraid to change up a recipe to suit your own tastes.

My boyfriend doesn't usually like my cooking but he did like this one. Not a fan of canned green beans so I substituted it with blanched fresh broccoli. Paula, you're awesome!

My family loves this. I use miracle whip instead of mayonnaise and it adds extra flavor.

This recipe lacked alot of flavor. My kids usually love my cooking but they could not finish their plates. I probably won't be making this meal again.

VERY GOOD!! My first time to make anything from Paula Deen, and was not disappointed. I did tweak it a bit and added a lil more sour cream, i did not have water chestnuts, but did substitue baby corn and it worked great. i also added more cheese. very easy to make and i will be making it again!!

So good I did not change a thing. Well .... OK .... I leave out the pimentos and bump up the cheese! I make it for crowds (no leftovers there or for myself and freeze the leftovers. Easily my favorite recipe in the whole wide world.

This casserole is delicious. The second time I made it, however, I tweaked it a bit and it was even better! I used fresh green beans, parboiled first, some store bought roasted red peppers and some French's fried onions mixed in before cooking plus more added on top for the last few minutes of cooking (about 10 min. We love this !!

As a family , we all like the recipe very much. However, I did make a couple of changes. First, from wild rice I went to a combination of white/brown long grain rice (the family is not crazy about wild rice. And, secondly I cut the chicken back to about two cups and used cooked spicy Italian (poultry version sausage cut into slices.
