Yummy!! I did not use the water chestnuts, did half cup light mayo, half cup light sour cream and used crispy french onions on top the last 5 mins in the oven. A+++++++ My family LOVED IT!!!! YUMMY!!!!

Great comfort food! Love your stuff, Paula, but I always give a recipe my own twist. I Substitute chopped celery for the water chestnuts, and add sliced mushrooms to the saute. I also use brown rice and creamy chicken/mushroom soup mixed with
a cup of lowfat sour cream and omit mayo and cheese.

Loved it!! As the other reviews suggested, I substituted a little sour cream for the mayo. I used 3/4 cup mayo and 1/4 cup sour cream. I will definitley make it again!

This was a little to much mayonaise taste for me, but my kids loved it! I will definately make it again, but will try substituting some of the mayo.

Didn't care for the taste...may try VegAll in place of the green beans next time.

This is the best chicken/rice casserole I've ever tried! And everything is all in one dish - meat, vegetable, rice. Great for company since you can make it ahead. Add a warm loaf of bread and a plate of grapes and you're all set.

A very weird combination of ingredients, but the taste kind of grew on me. I used low fat soup, cheese and mayo, so it didn't seem greasy to me. I don't know if I will make it again, but it wasn't bad.

May I take this opportunity to commend Paula on her "care and share" attitude....Other websites charge for their recipes. But good Ole' Paula...a true American, knows just how important it is to share a great dish with others ! Your gift to us will adorn our dinner tables for generations to come. I give you FIVE STARS !!! Huge Fan
