    Oh my! This is really really good stuff! I made this for dinner (October 18,2006.- and it was awesome...To quote Rachael Ray- "Yummo!!!" Both my elderly father and I really liked this!! We will have this again...

    I made this tonight with just what I had onhand. I only had white rice, not wild rice, so I used that. I also did not have green beans, so I omitted that. I also topped it with some fresh bread crumbs dotted with butter. It was a HUGE hit with family, so I will be making this again. Paula, we can always count on you for great recipes!

    I had some leftover side-dish chicken flavored rice which I was wondering what to do with when I saw this recipe, so, I used it as a guide to make a chicken rice casserole of my own that I thought was DELICIOUS! I substituted with ingredients that I preferred and what I had on hand. I used seasoned cooked ground chicken breast, the chicken flavored rice, a bag of frozen broccoli-cauliflower-carrots(cooked before adding, frozen peas, cream of chicken soup, 1/2 cup of mayo, and sauted onions. I didn't add cheese, but I think it might have been even better with the cheese. I will be making this again, but I'll add some cheese and maybe some sliced almonds...yum! I think I'll omit the mayo next time, too... I couldn't really tell what it added to the recipe(other than fat and calories!

    have used this recipe several times. Everyone loves it. Always turns out good. I have sometimes substituted the water chestnuts with toasted almonds. Still wonderful.
