Great recipe. I used 2-16 oz bags of frozen chopped broccoli instead of canned green beans. Nice uniform texture. I'm making it again for a Super Bowl potluck.

Tasty and delish, the water chestnuts were a nice addition. Left out the green beans because no one likes them. Other than that it was yummy.

Good base recipe for a casserole. Next time I'd use fresh veggies instead of canned. Also I like the other reviewers that have tried it with other condensed cream soup flavours, I might try that myself. The best part of this casserole though is the water chesnuts that add a crunch and the cheese. I'd add more cheese on top next time.

I have made this recipe many times. My husband asks for it, especially because of the water chestnuts, which I slice up. I use regular green beans, and have used every form of cream of soups...celery, mushroom and chicken, and it always, always tastes great. Thanks Paula

Easy, quick, and good. If you're a food snob, probably wouldn't be your favorite, but it is a casserole. Nice switch up for Thanksgiving or a potluck.

After reading the reviews, being bland as they say I remembered to salt it, added 1 tsp dry oregano, 1/2 parmesan, 1/3 cup finely chopped italian parsley, 1/8 tsp. ground pepper.. I added only 1 can of green beans which was plentiful. Baked 35 minutes and then topped 2/3 cup of shredded cheddar and baked additional 15 minutes.. Note: Don't omit chestnuts.. you need that crunch when you bite into it..Its worth it..Great recipe, Paula.. Sorry, I had to tweek it..

OK but very bland. My husband wasn't impressed, won't be making again. I love Paula though!
