I made this recipe because we had chicken and I needed an easy way to make a main dish. My family and I can NOT get enough of this casserole and how incredible it is!

This is not the sort of thing I would make or admit to liking. However, after making it for my husband, I could not stop eating it! It's sinfully addictive. I'm sure it's not low calorie. I kinda wished it wouldn't taste as good as it did but it sure was tasty. Great dish to bring to a cook-out or pot luck event.

I love this recipe whenever I need to make a quick dinner...The only thing I would leave out is the water chestnuts..didn't really like the crunchy factor in the dish!

Nothing fancy, but very yummy and easy to personalize. Very good comfort food that tastes even better the next day. I'm not big on the cup of mayo. The mayo does add some tang, so don't leave it all out, but tastes very good with much less, e.g. quarter to half cup total.

Loved this recipe, but not a fan of mayo, so I substituted pureed yellow squash. My family loves it and they have no idea there's squash in it! One night I forgot to buy green beans and substituted frozen broccoli. You can use cream of mushroom soup and add a little garlic too and it creates an entirely different flavor. Experiment and change it up, you can't mess up this dish!

Very good! Whole family had seconds. I wasn't sure about the Mayo and went with light mayo and very happy with the taste. Also substituted mushrooms (because they marry so well with chicken instead of water chestnuts and very happy with the results. Family agreed this is a great diner to revisit.

This dish was very good, very filling. I did not use the plimentos, and it still turned out great. Next time i think i will add less mayo.

I have yet to make this casserole that someone doesn't ask for the recipe, and it is the most requested casserole dish I make. Everyone goes back for seconds and there's never any leftovers. Great dish to pass at any relaxed function.

This is a crowd pleasure dish. Very easy to make. I use less Mayo than required and use Cream of Mushroom soup instead. Also used green olives with pimentos and 2 cloves minced garlic.

    Very tasty!!
