can't rate it properly, because I can't get the recipe on line. Paula doesn't give the recipe on the show, just the ingredients. All the site says is watch the show for the recipe. HELP!

This dish is perfect for a cold rainy day. It's spicy, delicious and very easy to make but you'll have lots of leftovers. Great for parties and family get togethers.

I tried this recipe the day I saw it on Paula's show. I was pressed for time and the larder was looking thin. This was something enjoyed by all the family and was very easy to put together in a pinch. It lacked color but made up for it in taste. This is one we will use over and over again.
    Thanks, Paula!

Think about taking the sausage out, or at least cooking it separately and adding it at the end. Maybe it was the kind of sausage we used, but it added too much grease. The flavor it added was nice, but not nice enough to compensate.

Also, she used a little bit of tobasco sauce on the show, which doesn't come up on the recipe here.

I'm from New Orleans and wasn't exposed to bland food --unless I was sick. I married and moved to North Carolina. My husband loved my cooking but when he requested chicken bog, I told him it nauseated me to even think of cooking such a bland dish. I finally found Paula's recipe and tried it. My hubby loved it! I used a little extra red pepper just to make me feel like I wasn't cooking for a sick person. Even I was pleased.

Easy and delicious -- recommend using chicken thighs in place of whole cut up chicken -- to avoid finding small bones in the rice.
