This is one of my all time favorite recipes. We only use half a stick of butter and leave out the red pepper and my whole family loves it. We have also made the chocolate almond pie featured in this recipe and it is awesome also. Thanks Paula, we love you!!

Love this and so easy. I do add extra meat so it is more meaty and less rice-y. I also add a bit extra spice to kick it up. Great for a cold day.

This was so easy and everyone I have made it for simply loves it.
My stepdaughter and her family are Muslim and when visiting them I made this and they liked it a lot, just changed the sausage to beef sausage.

I can't tell you how amazing this was. It was so much more than chicken and rice. I think I might make it the next time I have guests over. This is my favorite Paula recipe. I followed the recipe exactly, and it took a while but it was well worth it. I had a lot left over, but I liked it so much I ate it for lunch and dinner the next couple of days. I can't wait to make it again. It was great with the beer biscuits. Paula rocks!!!!!
