I made this for my church and everyone loved it. It was a huge success. I used 1/2 cream of chicken and 1/2 cream of mushroom and omitted the sherry and it was still great. It was not the healthiest meal, but it was good.

This is a good recipe, however, if I make it again I will reduce the amount of chicken and increase the amount of noodles. Other than that, it was delicious. Loved the slivered almonds. It gave it a nice crunch.

I was really surprised when I taste tested this before putting it in the oven. It was very tasty. My husband loved it. I used Chardonnay instead of cooking sherry, though, and I toasted the slivered almonds myself in the broiler because I couldn't find toasted slivered almonds at the grocery store. Also... I seasoned with kosher salt, pepper AND chicken seasoning. I wish I knew what it was that gave it the wonderful flavor. I think it was mainly the wine, but it was a distinct flavor that I just couldn't quite place. It was REALLY good.

I addes opnions with the mushrooms and sauteed them first as suggested by another reviewer. It added good flavor. My husband didn't like the almonds but I thought they added a great crunch. Plus I just love almonds. Add less cheese...or do not use all cheddar. Overall very good! I ate it 2 nights in a row.

Well, just about all of my family liked this recipe. Two out of the three kids that can eat solid foods liked it. My husband took the left overs to work for his lunch/dinner. I liked it enough to make it again, but not the first thing I would choose. Since I cook for five people, and there are five stars to choose from, three out of five really liked this recipe. So, I gave it three stars. But if I was grading on just presentation, smell, and how easy it was to make, I would give it five stars.

I give it 5 stars for easy preparation and 4 for taste. I had to twick it a little using red pepper flakes, poultry seasoning and adding some veggies. Kids loved it. I will make it again if I'm pressed for time or just too tired to slave over a hot stove.

My husband liked it but I thought it was too rich. It was too cheesy, not enough noodles and didn't taste homemade enough, if that makes sense. Wouldn't make it again.

This was worse than any of Sandra Lee's recipes. I usually have better luck with Paula's recipes, but i won't be making his again.
