I made 1/2 of the recipe. I made a few changes after reading the reviews. I used cream of celery soup. I used fresh mushrooms which I sauteed. I also added onion powder and garlic powder. I did not have pimento so used roasted red peppers which I chopped very fine. On top I used Italian style bread crumbs.
I don't understand why someone said that there were too many ingredients. Most of the ingredients come already prepared. If you have left over chicken it is so easy.

My family loved this recipe. I made a couple of changes....I never seem to follow a recipe to the last detail. I didn't have sherry so I substituted more chicken broth. I used leftover chicken breasts and I doubled the mushrooms since we all love them.
Easy and yummy!

Outstanding! I even did some substitutions since mushrooms are not a hit in my house...we used asparagus, everyone went nuts! Great job Paula!!

Easy to fix. Feeds an army. On the down side, just doesn't have any flavor.

This was great! My husband came in and said whats for dinner? I told him what it was and he just went on. When he ate it he kept saying how good it was, that he figured it was just a chicken replacement for tuna. He refilled his plate and the next week he asked when we were having Miss Paulas chicken again. The left overs were great the next day.

I added a 10 oz. box of chopped spinach (thawed and squeezed dry for some color and "hidden veggies". I also used spaghetti pasta and called it "chicken spaghetti" so my kids would eat it. It worked!

I made this recipe earlier this week. The family liked it a lot. The husband and #1 son didn't care for the almonds. Myself and #2 son liked the almonds. Will cut back to half of a package next time. I used cream of celery soup in place of the mushroom. I think it could've used a little more flavor though. Onion salt, powder of flakes, maybe or some other seasoning. It was very easy to put together. Will definitely make again.
