I made the recipe as directed. I thought is was very salty - that's all I could taste. I will not make this again.

This recipe required a little tinkering on my part, mostly because I don't like mushrooms. I omitted the mushroom and substituted cream of chicken soup. I also cut back on the cheese and sherry and added fresh parsley. It has become a fall go-to when I need to make a fast, affordable meal!

I actually made this last night and it was pretty good. My husband who is so skeptical of casseroles said it was good, and that is amazing for him to comment on a casserole in a positive way. After being sick for two days this came together in just min. and the entire family loved it. I used a store purchased rotisserie chicken and it was delicious. I will definitely keep items in the pantry for a go-to quick meal when needed. Some changes: I used fresh sautéed mushroom with some green onions and I also added some garlic powder to the over all mixture, and I used white wine instead of sherry (it's what I had on hand. Supper simple but really good. Thanks Paula!

I love this recipe! It is my go to dish when I have to go to a party or get together. I even got my husband ( who cant really cook many dishes to cook this by heart now. It is quick and simple! Delicious

I keep reading bad reviews and mine was so good. I change it up a little bit. No almonds(I am not a big fan of them, no sherry and one can of Cream of Broccoli and one can of Cream of Chicken soup instead of the Cream of mushrooms. I found this a very easy tasty meal to prepare to my family.

Sorry Paula but this is a very horrible meal. I have so many other words I'd like to use but I won't. I spent over $60 on this meal and came to see that it is overpowered with the Sherry and the Sharp cheddar cheese (yes I used the exact amounts for each part of the recipe and cooking times as well. I'd honestly be better making a tuna sandwich and eating that instead. Please remove this recipe from the website.

This is a good casserole recipe to make ahead of time. Next time I would cut back on the sherry a tad, it was a little strong for my taste. And mine needed 45 minutes to cook to "gel" up nice, but otherwise it's a go to recipe for me on those nights when I'm on call and I want to make sure my crew still has a home-cooked meal.

    Changed it!
After reviewing some of the comments regarding how bland this recipe was, I decided to use one can of Cream of Broccoli and one can of Cream of Chicken soup instead. The change made the dish very flavorful! I’m adding this to our weekly dinners!
