This taste just like the chicken divan from my favorite restaurant, just a whole lot cheaper.

I was having "one of those days" and was really in the mood for a comforting casserole. This really hit the spot! I agree with other reviewers that you definitely need to serve this with rice, bread, or pasta to soak up all the great sauce. Since I'm cooking for 2, I love recipes like this because once it's all mixed up, half goes in the oven and half goes in the freezer for an easy dinner next time. I used low fat soup and sour cream, and next time I'd consider adding a little more broccoli and curry powder.

I made half this recipe since there's just the 2 of us, using lo-fat ingredients and it was absolutely fantastic! My husband begged for more - I wish I had made the full recipe. I will definitely make this again!

Thought this dish was pretty good, however, I had to substitute some ingridients. I did not have curry so I used cayenne pepper (half the amount of what the curry called for and instead of Cream of mushroom, I used Cream of Chicken. I served it over rice.

I took another viewer's suggestion and made a side of basmati rice. This is a MUST! Egg noodles would be good, too. I added more curry to sauce and doubled the bread crumb topping (that was the best part! use extra parm, for sure. The sauce was creamy and tangy, a delicious combo which I will be sure to serve for guests. My husband had two huge servings! Very good -- we love you, Paula.

I'm on a diet so I didn't get to enjoy this but my father is hard to please and he says put a big smiley face on this recipe. My husband said it was better than mine and I KNOW mine is good. Thank you for yet another favorite recipe.

A delicious dish that I tweaked a bit after reading the other reviews. I made this recipe with a whole roasted regular flavor chicken from the store and I included the package drippings in the sauce. Also, I almost doubled the amount of broccoli (I made the two pan recipe and froze one. I also used 2 cups of cheddar cheese, 1 Tablespoon of curry and lots and lots of fresh pepper. I am pregnant so I used chicken broth instead of the wine. For the topping, I doubled it, 4T butter, 1c crumbs and 1c parmesan. To us, the key was serving over steamed white rice... it balanced the flavor and gave us something to soak up all that delicious sauce.

Thanks Paula, your recipes are always a hit. When my husband asked what was for dinner I just said, "its a new Paula recipe" and he knows it will be great!

The night I made this, I was a little disappointed. My husband and I just didn't love it. I had made many other recipes of Paula's and always loved them. I will say we both liked it better the next day. Maybe it needed the time for the flavors to meld a little more...? I'm still a huge Paula fan!
