Quick and easy dish to make. Yet, not anything special. I did think the curry added a nice touch.

LOVED THIS DISH!!! It was so easy to throw together. I didn't have any parm cheese so I topped it with mozzarella instead...this was really yummy. I also didn't have any sour cream, so I added a little extra mayo and some dijon mustard for some tang. And I loved how it turned out! Great dish Paula...I'll be making this again, many more times, I'm sure.

My mom made this all the time growing up, so it is comfort food for me. She used cream of chicken soup instead of mushroom, no sour cream or wine and sharp cheddar cheese instead of Parmesan (topped with buttered bread crumbs. The curry makes the dish, so if you don't like, don't make it. Going to try Paula's version and report back!

We made this with some rotisserie chicken, but added 2 c. of fresh sliced mushrooms. It was DEVINE!!! Will make it again... many times. So very quick and easy to mix up.. but I'll have to say, the mushrooms really added to it!

I made this dish and I thought it was very good. You do have to use common sense. If you don't like curry leave it out. You can change recipes.

I was fine until I got to this part:
"In a medium bowl, combine the soup, mayonnaise, sour cream, Cheddar, lemon juice, curry powder, salt and pepper, to taste, and wine."
I started laughing uncontrollably and my husband thought I had lost it. I think about how many read this and thought "whine" and not "wine". LOL.
Thanks for the Friday laugh!!
OH, and the Divan, was DIVINE!!

You don't have to use wine and /or curry with this recipe for it to taste good! I wanted to use both, I'm sure it gives a great fresh taste to a comfy classic, but I've got a picky eater and its not my son! I use a can of cream of chicken and a can of cream of mushroom. Seems better this way.

A-mazing! Yes there is a bit of curry in the recipe but that is what makes it delicious in my opinion. If you are unsure of curry, start with a little and TASTE AS YOU GO. I am in culinary school right now and it is the most important thing they teach us. Everyone has different tastes! Also, the wine is very important. If you don't have wine on hand then don't make this recipe. I also use fresh broccoli because, to me, fresh is always better! Wonderful as leftovers as well...

OMG this is soooo delicious...wonderful "family Meal". I left out the Curry, Wine and lemon because I did not have them and I did 1 can Cream of Mushroom and 1 Can Cream of Chicken (used what I hadserve over white rice to make it go a ittle further. I also used Fresh broccoli because I get that HUGE bag from Costco every week. This made a greal lunch the next day. Big hit with the family.

You better like curry! Strong curry flavor, in fact that's about all I tasted. If you don't like curry, don't make this dish.
ps - to be fair, I did leave the wine out so, maybe that accounts for the lack of taste (other than curry
