This was excellent!!! A in my book. I took the leftovers to lunch to share with the gals, and they all really liked it. Served with brown rice as the sauce is rich enough to mix in with the rice on your plate and made a good compliment to the dish. Now have to share the recipe for others at work. Will make this again without a doubt. Thanks Paula!

With the substitutions gmzen used I couldn't resist making my own, and I can't say that I was disappointed! Had a bit of difficulty with grating my chese (can't use the store bought parm, gotta have it fresh, but other then needing a new grater it was flawless!

I wanted to make this but didnt want to have to go to the store. So I used everything but the curry, and used cream of chicken soup and shredded zucchini as substitutions for the mushroom soup and spinach - basically because its what i had.
To make it more hearty for a family of 5 (three teens, I peeled and thinly sliced potatoes and laid them across the entire top of the casserole - topped with butter pats and a little parm cheese. YUM - E.

i don't EVER write reviews but absolutely needed to on this one. Smelled great but that's about it. Wouldn't feed it to the dog. I usually love Paula's dishes but this one is aweful!! Way too salty. The curry was very strong. It was just bad. Very bad. Glad my hubby already loves me because this meal was a FLOP! Sorry Paula.

Curry is a strong flavor and was dominant in this recipe. My wife and one of my sons thought it was very good. I would make it again but not put any curry powder in it. The direction were very easy to follow.

We are not a fan of curry and my husband doesn't like lemon or wine in recipes, so I made a few alterations. I used garlic powder instead of the curry, left out the lemon juice, and used chicken broth instead of the wine. I used a rotisserie chicken and added half a box of cooked pasta shells. For the topping I used crumbled Townhouse crackers and some extra cheddar cheese. It smelled amazing before I even put it in the oven. I think this has taken over as the new favorite in my house.
The best way to make a recipe is to look at the ingredients and if there's something in it that you know you or your family doesn't care for, then leave it out or substitute something similar.

This sounds good and easy to make. I'm watching it on TV now so I haven't made it yet but I'm wondering if it might be too salty.
