I added more mushrooms (but still needed more but I also changed the sauce a bit. I took the chicken out then added some half & half, some mozzarella, little pepper then poured over the chicken and it was excellent!

I made this dish tonight for dinner and it was really DELICIOUS!!! My husband raved about it. It was very simple and fast to make. Can't wait to make it again. The only thing I would do is use more mushrooms just like someone else said in one of the other reviews. Great dish Paula keep up the great work. Love ya.

I was hesitant to make this despite the good ratings because there are so few ingredients & I'm NOT the kinda girl that uses a 5 ingredient recipe. But seriously, this was surprisingly good! Chicken had a GREAT flavor- it almost tasted like it had been wrapped in bacon??? The mushrooms, butter, and shallots all melt down together into this nice sauce & really flavor up that chicken as it cooks. I did pulverize my chicken breasts before cooking to make them thin & easier to cook. Served them with whole grain rice and steamed broccoli. Will definately make again!!!! :

I've made this twice now and I have the same problem every time. The tate is real good but I feel the mushrooms kind of shrink down so much its like they are not even there. Maybe next time I will add more mushrooms.

I decided to make this for company based on the reviews. Sorry Paula, but being form California I could bring myself to use only half the butter and add some olive oil to it. I first browned the chicken then the mushrooms. I added an additional California twist by deglazing the pan with white wine then returning the chicken and mushroom mixture back to the pan and topping it with a dry jack cheese I had bought at my farmers market. I finished in the oven for a few minutes. My guests and husband loved it. I will make this again, probably many more times. Thanks Paula.
