I love this recipe. First tried it when my grandpa was watching the show and printed the recipe for it. I have tried it with both sour cream and onion chips and barbeque chips. Both were wonderful, however; i have noticed that some brands of potato chip do not work as well as others. Some brands add too much salt where others are too greasy. If the first batch does not work for you, try a different brand of chip or even a different flavor. My father-in-law does not like sour cream and onion so we tried barbeque and now every time I make them I make half of each. I always add the butter to mine and sometimes find myself using extra.

EXCELLENT! I have also used regular potato chips and added dried parsley flakes and onion powder to the crumbs. I did not drizzle the nuggets with butter either ; but sprayed them with Pam before baking. I put them on a cooling rack which was on a baking sheet;that way both sides get crispy! I flipped them halfway during cooking too. For the honey mustard sauce I followed it exactly, using 3 TBS fresh OJ which I thought was the perfect consistency for dipping.

We thought this was very bland. With the chips and butter on the nuggets, we thought there would be a lot of savory flavor but there was hardly any flavor. The honey mustard sauce was okay but very mayonnaisey. This wasn't a bad recipe, just not what I've come to expect from a Paula Deen recipe. And I couldn't imagine serving this at poker night because it gets your fingers really greasy.

Paula and her boys did it again. This recipe was great. I just tried this and my husband and daughter absolutely loved it. THere wasn't a nugget left. So this is a keeper in my book. And I love how easy it is to make and you can even prepare more for later and just freeze it. I recommend this recipe to whoever loves nuggets!! I am going to try next to add a different flavor and see how they come out!! Thanks again too paula and her boys!!

Super yummy! I don't bother with the butter, but the sauce is a "must make." After trying the recipe once, the second time I made a super-sized batch so I could freeze most of them. They are the perfect kid dinner after sports practice - right from the freezer to the toaster oven to happy kid's tummies!

Good basic start but always use your own touch and favorite flavors. Mix it up. If you're not experimenting with this recipe then you may as well just make cafeteria food.

I made this for the kids for Christmas dinner and not only did they LOVE it, the adults did too. I made about 3 large filets for about 5 kids but they were gone in minutes (they were that great. Next time I will make more since I can freeze them for later. I ended up crushing the chips with my bear hands even smaller so that it would cover more of the chicken and it worked just as great. I may venture out and try the recipe with BBQ chips and see if that is any good. THanks Paula for such an easy and delicious recipe!
