After reading reviews, I made a few changes. After cutting chicken in pieces, I seasoned with celery and onion salt, garlic powder and pepper mixed, and let them sit in fridge for an hour until ready to cook them. Used baked sour cream and onion chips, and no butter on top. Didn't add horserdish to the dipping sauce. They were a huge hit with the four teens in the house.

Need a quick tasty dinner? Have some friends coming over to watch the game? These are perfect! They're super easy to make, and they bake up in no time! My boyfriend and I spent the day cleaning around the house, and before we knew it, it was 5:30! What to do? I opened the freezer and saw a huge bag of frozen chicken breasts and not much else, so I immediately searched the Food Network website & stumbled across this recipe! Luckily, we just came back from vacation and had a bunch of left over chips, so this recipe was a perfect way to get rid of them! Anyhow, I crushed the chips (used half sour cream & onion & half regular chips and followed the recipe as instructed. These were delish! A definite crowd-pleaser that I will be making again!

Excellent chicken nugget recipe! I wondered if the sour cream and onion flavour might be a little overwhelming but it wasn't, and the crushed crisps gave a lovely crunchy texture. I used Pringles and beat them with a rolling pin in a freezer bag to crush them. The drizzled melted butter over the top made them verrrry tasty. Even eaten by a 2 and a half year old with feeding problems!

This is the ultimate CROWD PLEASER for KIDs and adults!!! I devoured it. Well, me and my nephew did.

I didn't have potato chips so I used crushed corn flakes. I'm going to make it next time with potato chips. I loved the honey mustard sauce. Seriously, these were 'eyes rolling into the back of the head' good!!

It's also one of those dishes that you can make when you are hungry but don't really feel like cooking but want something a little more than a bowl of cereal is perfect to make. You just roll the chicken in crumbs and pop it in the oven. That's it.

I can't believe ive been spending so much money ordering this in restaurants all the time when I could just have made it so simply myself. Also, in restaurants they usually use white meat. I am a dark meat fan and so I used chicken thigh strips. To me it was better than in any restaurant I've had them in!

i personally didn't get to taste them due to diet. However, my husband and four kids did. The kids enjoyed helping me make them and they all liked it. I do think it is a bit greasy with the butter so I think next time I will minimize the amount of butter used. I used normal lays instead of sour cream and onion. I also didn't put any horseradish in the dipping sauce because my kids are little sensitive. In the end I asked if this recipe was a keeper and the answer was YES!
