Aside from the prepping of the veggies, this was very quick and easy to prepare.

I really liked the flavor and texture of this dish. I agree with others that the sauce wasn't exactly bland; it could just use a little something else. Garlic may do the trick. I noticed that a similar recipe of Emerill's got better reviews. The only real differences are that it calls for garlic, Asian spice blend (instead of ginger, sesame seeds, cashews, and roasted garlic red pepper sauce. I will try this recipe next and then possibly make a combo of ingredients from the two.

This recipe was okay. I can't say that i loved it though. The sauce needed something and I even added garlic and crushed red pepper.

Paula, I love you, but this is an Americanized Chinese dish.

This recipe was almost as good as Chinese takeout, I gave it 4 stars because I felt like it needed a tiny bit of sweetness so I added a small amount of brown sugar and some garlic for a kick. I will make this again but not exactly as Paula's recipe states

Great recipe, but needed 2 cloves of minced garlic that goes in all Chinese food. I make my own all the time, so I was shocked that this was missing.

I made this for my wife after she saw the episode and thought it sounded good. We don't care for mushrooms or onions, so I omitted them and added zucchini. I also served it over fried rice. We were happy with how it turned out. The sauce was pretty good, not bland by any means. It was actually a little bit thick and just a little overpowering. Next time I'll add pinepple chunks to offset the sauce a little bit. Overall it's a good recipe and worth a try.
