I loved this pie, used a regular pie crust lined with toasted pecans, then used plain Hersey Bars. Easy and delicious. Be sure to cool the marshmallow chocolate mixture before folding in whipped cream.

This mousse textured pie will earn the cook much favor! I made it for two different birthday celebrations and got rave reviews from numerous people. I think it's misnamed. It should be called S'more Pie Please because it tastes much like a smore! The other thing is it takes longer than 5 minutes to make this pie because it does take time to melt marshmallows and chocolate. Then you need to let the chocolate mixture get really cool. I refrigerated mine. Otherwise, it will melt your fresh whipped cream. Don't expect leftovers!

I tried this recipe exactly like it was written. By the time the marshmallows were melted the chocolate was turning hard and dull looking. There was no way this was going to fold in with the whipped cream. It was basically like chocolate string cheese. I shredded & pulled it and layered it with the whipped cream. There must be some other steps needed to make yhe chocolate foldable. I tried this recipe twice to no avail. WHAT AM I MISSING?
