This is a great recipe that I did with my 8 year old grandson and now he can do it himself. He has even tryed different candy bars (hershey and of course with supervision with the stove top. It always tastes good and is always a big hit!!!

Tasting is believing. My son, his wife and two daughters are very picky eaters. They ate this pie and wanted more. Excellent. So pretty to see and so good to eat.

I made this in individual servings in muffin cups. Per one of the other reviewer's suggestions I made it with an oreo cookie crust which was good. Maybe just because of the way I made them, but it never seemed to quite solidify, and as soon as they were taken out of the freezer, they started melting fast. The tasted reminded me of a peanut butter cup, the almonds give it a nice nutty flavor.

We just loved this pie! I took this to a family dinner and it was the first desert disappear and it is now the desert for all family gatherings. Besides being so good it is so easy to make.

It's pretty good...LOVE the simplicity of it. I didn't like the Hershey's flavor (which Paula reccomends but I am not a big fan of Hersheys. I will try it again but will use a different chocolate. I also think it would be good with more almond flavor - like a layer of crushed almonds on top or something. I don't know. But it was still delish.

I recently made this pie for a Thanksgiving get together and everyone loved it. It is not overly chocolate but just right with the added surprise of the almonds.

First time I followed the recipe, the next time I used hald & half instead of milk, and 6 hershey bars and 1 1/2 cups of heavy cream. Made the crust instead of buying one then I added chocolate shavings and toasted slivered almonds on top. It made a beautiful pie. Thanks

This was very easy to make and is delicious. I made it and my husband loved it and so did the people at work - it was a hit. If your time is short substitute Cool Whip for the whipped topping. Delicious pie!!!!!!
