I tried this for our family and was so embarrassed! The best thing about it was the whipped cream topping. I ended up throwing almost the whole thing out because it just was so bitter. I will definitely not ever use that much coco powder again.

My family loves this because it is not too sweet. Very rich, however. A martini glass-full is too much. I am experimenting with other sizes for a nice presentation.

This was extremely easy to make, quick and inexpensive. I made about four in martini glasses and a few in mini pie crusts to test out presentation and both looked really wonderful. I would have no problem whipping up a bunch of these for a dinner party or just a couple for a romantic evening with my sweetie! Thanks for the great recipe!

Rich and delicious! Try this. Process the ricotta & cream cheese-add the rest, reducing the cocoa to 1/4 C. Won't be a sugary desert, but believe me this is sweetly rich and satisfying.

My husband and I liked it better without the Coco...thought it was to rich. We tasted it before the coco and after we had put the coco in the recipie we decided we prefered to eat it without! It was quick and easy and we were stunned how the Ricotta cheese really brought it together! Way to go Paula on a great quick goodie!!!!!

I fixed this recipe today. My husband, who loves any recipe with bananas said that it was okay. I did not really care for it. I love my sweets, and the 1/2 cup of sugar did not make the pie sweet enough for me. However, Paula cannot be perfect at all times. Overall, her recipes are "out of the ballpark fantastic."

My husband loves any kind of dessert - but he really hated this - I wish ya'll could have seen the look on his face!! I made it again using marscapone cheese in place of the ricotta and he liked it, but said it was not a "keeper". That's okay - it's the first recipe of Paula's that we have not cared for. 1 out of 1000 isn't too bad!!

Something must have been left out of the receipe. I had a dinner party and served the Chocolate Banana Pie-- should have tired it first--but did not have time. What a diaster!! I must say this receipe is definately not a keeper.
