This was my first time making Bread Pudding, and it came out great. We served it during a family reunion weekend and everyone was raving about it. Make sure you use hard bread; otherwise the pudding will be mushy. I purchased mine 3 days in advance so that it would be somewhat stale. We served it warm with some whipped cream and it was a big hit. You'll need to finish it within a day or so though, as it doesn't keep for very long. In terms of the almond extract other reviewers mention- we just used one tsp, and it was definitely more than enough.

This is a very yummy bread pudding. I added raisins and it tasted like chocolate covered raisin bread pudding.

This is amazing. I made it for my family, and they ate it in about 3 days! The only alterations that I made was using less almond extract because it kind of overpowers it, when ive made it in the past. Also, i used walnuts, raisins, and added a whole bag of chocolate chips because hey, who doesnt love chocolate?!

Easy to make and oh so delicious! But don't kid yourself; It is BEST with the almond extract. It makes the other flavors POP..and makes the chocolate melt in your mouth with the recipe...it is worth the trip to the grocery store for its addition.
