I read the other reviews, and for those that said that there was too much almond extract, there are only 2 TEASPOONS. If you mess this up it will not taste good. If you follow the diretions, everyone will tell you how amazing it is and ask when you are making it again.

After reading the reviews, I left out the vanilla and almond flavoring, but did put in the chocolate chips. Everybody said it would be better without the chocolate chips. Just has too many flavors in it.

This recipe is very rich and makes a lot. Great to make for a crowd. I suggest serving it with a cream sauce, ice cream or whipped cream.

I'm a chocolate lover and was excited to try this recipe. I was thoroughly dissappointed, however, because the only thing I could taste was the almond extract. WAY too much almond in there! If you like the taste of this recipe, an easier version would be to skip all the other ingredients and just take a swig of almond extract.
